Nutrition : What is the portion size of your 5 a day?

 

Each of the following is considered to be one portion, and the aim is to have five of these a day:

Fruit

 

1 medium apple

 

1 handful of grapes

 

1 medium glass of fruit juice

 

7 strawberries

 

3 whole dried apricots

 

1 medium banana

 

1 tablespoon of raisins

 

 

Vegetable:

 

2 broccoli florets

 

3 heaped tablespoons of peas
